What a wonderful place!! Warm and cosy, very dog (and human!) friendly. Good selection of food and drink and cheerful service.

Had utterly delicious tapas here for an evening meal. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding. We shared the tapas board for 2 + 3 extra tapas dishes between 4 adults and a child. It was totally delicious and worth it. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options, including a massive tapas board that is all veggie! Dietary restrictions: They were very good at knowing exactly what is in their food, and managed to help me avoid my odd intolerance! Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly indeed, super friendly and patient service.

My friend and I have eaten here for an early dinner whilst staying on a campsite at North Walsham (after long days of walking!) The staff have been very friendly and welcoming and the food tasty and wholesome. Overall a great find and will definitely make a beeline for Shambles when next in the area.

Excellent place for coffee and cake. Good choice of food and the staff all friendly and helpful. Shambles is dog friendly as well so a definite plus for us. Very good hot chocolate. Would call in again if we're ever visiting North Walsham.

Came back to my home town and visited this lovely vibrant cafe. We only had coffees and hot chocolate which were delicious and a reasonable price. Nice jazz music in the background . I think Shambles would be a lovely place to eat at night.

Our first visit this morning (Saturday). The best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten. Nice atmosphere. Waiting staff were very cheerful and attentive, especially Jess who made the whole experience amazing. We will be returning soon.

Delicious Sunday Roast - one of the best I've had, particularly as a vegetarian. The Nut Roast was really good, and I was pleased that I got to have all the sides too! Normally as a veggie you get used to having to miss out, but not here! The Treacle Tart was also perfect, a great spot and we will be back.

Fantastic place to visit, yummy food, filled me and my friends up, some couldn't finish 😊very cosy downstairs, upstairs more plain looking. Big bonus for being dog friendly. Definitely coming back to try breakfast as menu had big variety.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, my partner and I had the Roast Guinea Fowl and the Roast Beef - both were delicious, with crunchy roast potatoes, lovely gravy and some creamy roast cauliflower. The staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant was bustling - definitely have to book in advance, for a Sunday at least.
