I paid £2000 for my trailer and toe bar....it all looked well on first glance. The guy who made it said it would be water proof it wasn't it was the total opposite. They said it was secure the internal locks provided where cabinet locks(No good for traidsmans tools) The paint on the toe bar crumbled off in a matter of days rusting after a week of installation. The customer services are shocking. They always said they would ring but never did Also the original spec of the trailor where changed for their own benefit. Find some one else to build you trailor It also cost me a further 300 to fix all the problems.

NOT IMPRESSED ! I bought a towbar for my BMW from Freewheel . When I got home I found one of the four fixing bolts missing & another loose. The original BMW bolts were used for the lower fixings & cheap galvanised ones for the upper fixings. After 3 months, the single coat of gloss paint had fallen off & the whole towbar was covered in rust. I phoned Freewheel & they agreed to powder coat the bar & pay for postage both ways. When I emailed them to get it in writing I was told that they would only pay postage one way & if I wanted them to pay both ways they would only paint it again. When asked if it would last this time the response was " I don't know " I had it powder coated. When I removed the bar I discovered that the electrical junction box had just been left to rattle around in the tail unit & was starting to damage the bikes cable it was attached to. They had used cheap Scotchblock connectors, which are a cheap bodge. The connection should have been crimped & the junction box secured to stop it bouncing around. The towbar took nearly a month to be coated & when I emailed or phoned Freewheel, most of my emails went unanswered & all of my answerphone messages went unanswered. I managed to get through to Freewheel when I used my girlfriends phone. The powder coating is not very good & the bar is covered in pitting from the rust. For the money I paid , I would have expected a much better job & the after sales service was very poor. We all make mistakes but all of these could have been avoided with a little pride in their workmanship . I will never use them again.
