Great place in North Walsham. The landlady was very helpful and let us try the ciders before we ordered. Lovely outside seating and very reasonably priced.

Micro pub with a rotating selection of real ales, ciders and a small selection of bottled lagers. Small and friendly, no music or TV screens just good conversation. Dog friendly. Small area outside (seasonal, not Oct-March) with a few tables for when the weather allows. No food, but happy for you to bring in food from local takeaways - the North kebab house is about 10 metres away and does great kebabs & pizzas. Rare to find a pub happy for you to eat takeaway on the premises

The Hop In is THE real ale pub in North Walsham, and probably this part of North Norfolk, it doesn't serve food, it does serve beer. That's it.

Small but perfectly formed. I bloody love it. Crisp, perfect real ale and proper pork scratchings served in a glass. That's about it. And it's bloody lovely. If you enjoy real ale, you cant afford to miss this place. Cheers!

Several nice cask beers it's in the 2023 Good beer guide, Julie behind the bar last night knowledgeable, thank you.. and interesting chats with the locals. Very worth a visit... places like this need all the support they can get... well done.

Very friendly micropub, the staff member was engaging and the beer range was local-focused, but varied and well-kept. It's clear that the regulars are pleased to drink here and keen for the place to succeed as we were made to feel very welcome and engaged by them too

My favourite place for a beer in the North Walsham/Norfolk area! Good ever changing ale and cider selection, all a decent price. Lots of charm, with friendly staff and customers. Lovely to sit outside in the summer with a pint!
