Appalling attitude and service at this store today. Bought an expensive game console two days ago which should have come with an additional free game as part of the offer. This was buried deep in the item screen in the app and missed by myself, and it wasn't brought to my attention as it went through their till either. I went back to sort and claim this today presenting all receipts and card entries (it was actually bought on an Argos card) and was told they weren't prepared to now honour this as it was my fault and "why should they give away free games if they don't have to.." Quite quite shocked at this attitude, the "Store Manager", "Adam" (I suspect, neither detail true) should be utterly ashamed of himself and his store today.

Hi. I have just been into argos north walsham on 29th September at 1pm to collect my order. I was grated with a young lady who was very rude and abrupt. Not customer service care. And only managed a yes. I was made to feel bad and have neber in my life been treated with such contempt and rudeness. I left the store but had to return item as was damaged. If I thought the first contact was bad. The next was even worse. She was not only rude, abrupt but very dismissive. I was made to feel bad for even being there. This was absolutely discraceful behaviour. I was visiting the area and this was very unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour. Please could a manger please talk to this person and customers should not be treated in this manner. The young lady would not even give her name.

Staff are rude. They REALLY need to be trained on customer services and also learn to treat people with respect.

My husband went to pick up his order and the woman who served him was very blunt starting with yes? No can l help you or please or thankyou like she was doing him a favour. Seriously needs to brush up on customer serve dreadful.

Visited Argo Branch North Walsham today. There was a queue to be served with only one check out in operation out of a possible 4 with 6 staff standing around looking spare. One of the staff was roaming around asking customers their order numbers. She stated only one checkout was open due to convid restrictions. I asked her why didn't they use checkouts 1 and 4 as it would leave 6 meters between checkouts and speed up the process. She immediately became defensive and rounded on me asking asking if I wanted to be served and wasn't I having a good day I could go else where! I wasn't being rude or aggressive in my manner but merely offering some constructive feedback. I immediately challenged her and said I didn't appreciate her Sarcasm and yes today was a good day for me and I wouldn't be going elsewhere! From that point I was singled out for special treatment and left to feel I had overstepped the mark by speaking out! As a local person never had an issue with the store before. I will not be using this Store again and will think twice before placing an order with Argos. I have deliberately excluded the female member of staffs name to save her embarrassement!

New to area and not impressed. Asked a question to male behind counter from more than 2metre, nobody else at counter. Male was more interested in making me stand at a particular spot before he would even listen to my enquiry. Just moved from Essex where Basildon staff are friendly n helpful even during covid times. Thank you Essex staff.

Absolutely amazing service from the staff, had a phone that wasn't charging was still under guarantee so took it back to store they tested it out and said you can I've have a full refund or a brand new phone
